How I can cut the rod of FTW31 sensor to adjust its length? i mean to say, is there any special procedure or where to cut, means from the top of rod or from the bottom where there is no insulation? (1 answer)
Hi Zulfiqar, there is nor special procedure, you can cut the rods with a cutting tool. Please, pay attention to not damage the insulation of other rods. What are the wetted materials it comes with? (1 answer)
The main wetted materials the device comes with: Stainless Steel 316L, Polypropylene (PP), and Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS).
What is the measuring principle behind it? (1 answer)
In general, the device comes with three probe rods- one for reference, one for determining the maximum value of fluid (MAX) and one to determine the minimum value of the fluid (MIN). The principle is that an alternating voltage is applied between probe rods and as of when the probe is immersed and the reference probe creates a connection with the conductive liquid, a measurable current flows and the FTW31 switches. With point level detection, the device switches back as soon as the liquid clears the MIN probe.
