First, we don’t have much to say about the Micropilot FMR10’s minimalist design. It has no local display or push buttons for setup, but don’t mistake this simplicity for crudeness. It hides a state-of-the-art system that provides a good user experience during configuration.
The Micropilot FMR10 has Bluetooth built in to allow you to set up using the SmartBlue App (iOS and Android). Bluetooth and WiFi have done a lot to boost the configuration process, so you’ll find many vendors offering them throughout their portfolios.
SmartBlue also lets you view your process data, so you don’t need a local display. However, if you still want one, then you can add a universal display like the RIA15, which takes an analog signal.

What can it do?

Now for specs! The FMR10 has a measuring range of up to eight meters (26.25 ft). It can also measure more than level; the linearization function will give you units of length, flow, volume, and weight.
Steam and other interferences can affect the accuracy of a standard ultrasonic meter, but not this transmitter! It’ll provide a more reliable measurement.
Speaking of which, the Micropilot FMR10 has excellent accuracy, offering up to +- 5 mm (0.2 in) – more than enough for most applications. Finally, it can handle temperatures from -40 to 60 °C (-40 to 140 °F) and pressures from -1 to 3 bar (-14 to 43 psi).

Because Bluetooth! Its communication with the app gives you all the process data from your device, and you can set it up using the same secure app.
Furthermore, you can easily install the device using its thread connections, and its wetted parts come in PVDF and PBT. Last but not least, the Micropilot FMR10 is a loop-powered device, offering a range of options for liquid measurement in different segments and scenarios.
