Wireless temperature measurement and logging
Hello, we have an application where requires a temperature measurement and logging, on up to 24 separate products for 12 hours. We always have cables issues and I would like to know if our application can be measured by a wireless solution, could you clarify?.
Expert’s answer: Wireless temperature measurement and logging
You sure can do wireless temperature measurement and logging. In fact, wireless devices will not only help the cable issue, they’ll improve your update time and give you more sensor options.
When you need to move the tanks, you can leave the sensors installed or remove them easily. If you leave them in, depending on where you move the tanks, the sensors should keep communicating, because usually in an open area they have a 250-meter range.
Furthermore, you can access and integrate your process values better. Multiple vendors offer different digital protocols to support seamless integration.
