I can't find the VTT10-F Manual, could you please provide a link to it?
Expert’s Answer: VTT10-F
Sometimes it is hard to find the technical manual. Especially if you are in the field with only a mobile! However, I have to say that I have found the documentation for devices pretty easily on the VIVACE website. The user experience is actually quite simple and easy to navigate.
Anyway, since we are here, why not talk a bit more about the device itself first.
The VTT10-F has an aluminum housing with IP67 certification. This means if you screw it on tightly you should have no problems with water or dust getting inside. In short, your electronics will be safe and sound. Besides that, VIVACE assures you that the housing from the VTT10-F is suitable for use in hazardous areas. However, there is no certification to support this claim just yet. The technical manual states approval is currently pending for Explosion Proof and Intrinsically Safe certifications.
The VTT10-F also has a local configuration which allows you to navigate through the menus with your magnetic tool in the Zero Span local adjustment system.
The display of the device is notable. It gives you a lot of information about the device. For example, through the display, you can see if the device needs maintenance or if it is sending or receiving data from the communicator. There is also a symbol that tells you that a diagnosis is being made. Moreover, you can install the display in any position in a span of 90°. Therefore if you install it horizontally you can simply rotate the display of the device to allow you to read values more easily.
Let’s talk about protocols. The VTT10-F supports analog, HART, and Profibus PA. It also supports different kinds of temperature sensors, such as RTDs, thermocouples, Ohm and mV. It can operate in operating temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
This is just a snippet information about the device! If you want to know all about the device you can have a look at the VTT10-F manual.
